Overview
Applictus helps you track job applications by connecting Gmail and organizing job‑related updates. We access only what we need to deliver these features and keep your data confined to your account.
Gmail Read‑Only Access
When you connect Gmail, Applictus uses read‑only access to analyze job‑related messages. We do not send email, delete email, or modify your mailbox.
Data We Access
- Account information: email address, name (optional), and sign‑in method.
- Gmail metadata: sender, subject, snippet, timestamps, message and thread identifiers, and labels needed for deduping and status inference.
- Message content (limited): when required to detect job‑related signals and classify updates. Access remains read‑only.
- Derived application data: company, role/title, and inferred status signals that power your dashboard.
- OAuth tokens: used to access Gmail (stored encrypted when encryption is enabled).
How We Use Data
- Detect job‑related emails and keep application statuses current.
- Prevent duplicates by tracking message identifiers.
- Provide context for inferred updates where available.
- Maintain reliability and security (dedupe, fraud prevention, debugging).
What We Do Not Do
- We do not sell your data.
- We do not show ads or use your data for ad targeting.
- We do not allow human review of your Gmail content unless you explicitly ask for support.
Google API Limited Use Disclosure
Applictus’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Retention
We retain tracking data while your account is active. If you disconnect Gmail, Applictus stops reading your mailbox. Previously extracted tracking data remains in your account unless you request deletion.
Security
- We use HTTPS in production.
- OAuth tokens are stored encrypted when encryption is enabled.
- Access is tied to your authenticated session.
Third‑Party Services
- Google OAuth / Gmail: authentication and permitted read‑only mailbox access.
- Hosting provider: runs the Applictus service.
- Database provider: stores account and tracking data.
Your Controls
- Disconnect Gmail from the Account page at any time.
- Log out to clear your session on this device.
- If account/data deletion is not available in‑app yet, contact us and we’ll help.

Applictus helps you track job applications by organizing job‑related updates in a dashboard. These terms explain how you may use the service and how we operate it.
Gmail Connection (Optional)
Connecting Gmail is optional. If you connect, Applictus uses read‑only access to detect job‑related messages and keep your application statuses current. You can disconnect Gmail at any time from the Account page.
How the Service Works
Applictus automatically groups and classifies job‑related updates. We provide best‑effort inferences based on the email data you authorize. You control final decisions and any edits to your records.
Account Responsibilities
- Keep your account credentials secure and accurate.
- Use the service only with data you own or are authorized to access.
- Review and confirm important application details when needed.
Acceptable Use
- No abuse, automated scraping, or attempts to bypass security controls.
- No interference with the service, including excessive load or spam.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate access if we believe your use violates these terms or harms the service. You may stop using Applictus at any time.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. If changes are material, we’ll make a reasonable effort to notify you. The “Last updated” date reflects the latest version.
